Well, I’ve done it….I’ve gone and got myself one of these blog things: after much deliberation and wondering if it would be a good idea I’ve decided to join the masses of wannabe critics and objective journalists and litter the world-wide-web with my apparently valid opinion….and that is all this is.
As the tagline of this blog points out (albeit in French) it is simply a ‘rant and rave about nothing’ – because lets face it, what is an opinion? There a lot like arseholes: everyone has got one and most of them stink. My opinion is probably not to disimilar to yours regarding certain issues, I don’t like Mondays like most people so I just want to be clear from the beginning, all that you read is just my opinion and whats on my mind. I dont want to force it upon you or go on for paragraphs why I think the new Tarentino movie is bad (which incidentley I don’t) or why you should vote for one lying douchebag rather than another. Sometimes I’ll think about important ‘grown-up’ things and other times I’ll just ponder the more trivial and silly things in life such as why I insist on racing the flush whenever I go to the toilet (you all do it!)
So instead of boring you all by showcasing how many (or indeed lack of!) big words I know or how much pointless rhetoric I can fit in one line, rather I hope that I can be as humble as possible and just try and make sense of what is swirling around up there in the ol’ think tank.
This is my first attempt at a blog, so excuse the bareness of the page, I haven’t figuired out the aesthetics yet. Hopefully the content will speak for itself.
Oh also, I called it Black Eyed Integrity because sometimes you have to suffer for what you believe in; I should know I’m a Boro fan.
